We are a professional medical society in Hong Kong focusing on management and improvement of care in patients with inflammatory bowel disease
Ordinary Members
Any medical practitioners who work in the field of inflammatory bowel diseases or are interested in the study of inflammatory bowel diseases shall be eligible. They are entitled to vote, to hold office as Council Members and to take part in all the Society’s activities and functions.
Any registered nurses, enrolled nurses, physical therapists, radiographers, paramedical staff and medical students, and any persons duly proposed, seconded and passed in a Council meeting for their contribution to the Society or to the study of inflammatory bowel diseases shall become Associate Members. Such members shall enjoy all the privileges of the Society except the power of voting and holding office as Council members.

Honorary Members
This membership is conferred under exceptional circumstances by the Society as a sign of respect and appreciation to a leader in the study of inflammatory bowel diseases, who has made significant contributions to the Society. Such Members shall enjoy all the privileges of the Society except the power of voting and holding office as Council members. The membership shall be for life.
